2. Home Brewing
How much bloom time does your Chemex need? Welcome to the world of home brewing. Here we cover the different home brewing methods which are commonly found in homes around the UE and the drinks to make the best cup with each one. Want to know the difference between a French Press and an aero press? A V60 and a Chemex. This course is for those who want to make their own great cup of coffee at home and need a few tips and tricks to really make a difference. You will require brewing equipment and coffee.

3. Home Espresso
Have trouble dialing in your home espresso? Can’t quite understand what the perfect grind needs to be? This beginner course is aimed to help those with an espresso machine at home to get the best out of the coffee and their espresso machine. You will require their home espresso machine and coffee.

4. Home Latte
Does your milk foam look more like a volcano eruption? This course shows the hints, tricks, and tips to help you impress your friends with a professional cappuccino at home. Want to impress your friends with a coffee shop-worthy cappuccino? Learn the tricks behind foaming the perfect milk while at home with your espresso machine. This course is divided into 2 sessions so we can see the progress and help you to perfect that technique.

SCA (Specialty Coffee Association)
Introduction To Coffee – SCA Certification
This course lays the foundation for all subsequent classes and is a great way to “get a taste” of the SCA curriculum. Coffee Introduction is designed for newcomers to the coffee industry and will teach you all of the basic, essential coffee knowledge. It will cover a broad overview of coffee. Perfect for the person who would like to explore what direction they wish to take their education within the Specialty Coffee Industry. When combined with SCA’s specialty add-on courses, you will be well on your way in your specialty coffee skills and knowledge.

Barista Skills – SCA Certification
The key module for any Barista in the coffee industry. These courses are a combined mixture of online learning and hands-on practice in our showroom and training center.
Foundation – 5 Credits Towards SCA Coffee Diploma
This is a full-day course designed to introduce core barista skills to people with no previous barista experience. Successful candidates should be able to simply calibrate their grinders and make espresso, cappuccino, lattes, and steam milk to core standards.

Intermediate – 10 Credits Toward SCA Coffee Diploma
During the first part of this intensive training class, you will learn about coffee history, green coffee, roasting, grinding, brewing, extraction and preparation, milk, water, service skills, presentation, cleaning, and sensory technology. The second half of the class is spent in the practical espresso stations. This is where you get hands-on experience with grinders, grinder adjustment, espresso machines, extraction, and pulling the perfect espresso shot. Not only will you learn about milk, steaming, and texturing, but you will practice it on the spot by preparing the perfect traditional espresso, cappuccino, and latte. The class will be concluded with time learning the basics of latte art.

Brewing Skills – SCA Certification
Brewing is swiftly becoming a necessary skill for any professional Barista. These courses will teach you the basics of all methods of extraction to the complexity and science behind each extraction These courses are a combined mixture of online learning and hands-on practice in our showroom and training center.
Foundation – 5 Credits Towards SCA Coffee Diploma
This course is designed to introduce core brewing skills to people with no previous experience. A practical will require brewing equipment and particular coffees but this can be followed online by the trainer.
Duration 2 x 4 Hours Hours 9:00 AM to 5 PM
Intermediate – 10 Credits Toward SCA Coffee Diploma
This course requires 1 day of practical courses and exercises. These will need to be conducted on-site.

Sensory Skills – SCA Certification
Coffee lovers, Roasters, Baristas, Traders, Buyers, and any true professional in the coffee industry should be fine-tuning their Sensory skills. These courses are a combined mixture of online learning and hands-on practice in our showroom and training center.
Foundation – 5 Credits Towards SCA Coffee Diploma
This course is designed to introduce core sensory skills to people with no previous experience. A practical will require particular coffees but this can be followed online by the trainer.
